Hilltops is a family-run preschool based in the heart of Ripponden led by established, highly qualified early years teachers. We are proud to be an Ofsted-rated good care provider, offering a breakfast club for early birds and preschool sessions. Focusing on children’s individual learning and development through a variety of educational and forest school experiences.

From our home corner to our craft corner, children within our care follow their own interests while learning and developing. Our outdoor adventures and learning provides children with opportunites to learn about maths, english, art and the world around them whilst challenging themselves and learning about risk, their abilities and developing self-confidence – ALL DURING PLAY!

Children enjoy a mixture of activities carefully considered and laid out to enhance their development. Our open plan setting allows children to follow their interests whilst learning at their own pace. We believe that children’s learning and development is imperative to good childcare. We look for a variety of approaches to enable a calming environment where children can flourish.
